Job summary

Morgan Ryder Associates Ltd. is seeking an Estimator in Hampshire to turn CNC machining expertise into accurate quotations for complex, precision-machined components.

The role leverages experience reading engineering drawings, understanding cycle times, tooling and manufacturing methods to shape winning bids. You'll join an experienced estimating team, produce quotations, review drawings to select efficient manufacturing routes, estimate cycle times and production costs, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• Must have strong CNC machining background and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, machining strategies and cycle times.
• Experience machining a range of materials and understanding production processes.

Responsibilities

• Produce quotations for complex precision-machined components.
• Review engineering drawings and determine the most efficient manufacturing route.
• Estimate machining cycle times, tooling and production costs.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams.
• Support new product introduction from RFQ through to production.
• Help secure profitable new business for the company.
