Job summary

ATP Technical Ltd is seeking a skilled technician to program 5-axis CNC machines for aerospace components. The role requires solid CAD/CAM knowledge and strict adherence to GD&T standards. You will liaise with design engineers, the test department, and CNC specialists to ensure 3D models, tolerances, machine settings and materials are aligned.

An appreciation of Siemens NX CAD, Vericut and Lean methodologies would be beneficial for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Experience with 5-axis CNC programming for aerospace components.
• Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM processes and GD&T standards.
• Ability to collaborate with design engineers, test department and CNC operations.

Responsibilities

• Produce programs to optimise precision and quality of complex aerospace components.
• Coordinate with design engineers, test department and CNC operators to align models, tolerances and settings.
• Apply Siemens NX and Vericut workflows to verify tooling and processes.
