Job summary

ATP Technical Limited seeks an experienced 5-axis CNC programmer to optimise the precision and quality of complex aerospace components. You will combine CAD/CAM with GD&T to ensure components conform to exact specifications.

You’ll liaise with design engineers, the test department and CNC operations to align 3D models, tolerances, machine settings and materials, with an appreciation for Siemens NX CAD and Vericut workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience with 5-axis CNC programming and aerospace tolerances.
• Strong CAD/CAM knowledge with GD&T to meet exact specs.
• Ability to collaborate with design engineers, test departments and CNC ops.

Responsibilities

• Produce programs using 5-axis CNC to optimise precision and quality for aerospace components.
• Coordinate with design engineers, the test department and CNC operations to align 3D models, tolerances, machine settings and materials.

Job description

You'll be using your 5 axis CNC knowledge to produce programs that optimise the precision and quality of complex components for aerospace applications.

Your background must include a sound knowledge of CAD/CAM combined with GD&T standards to ensure components meet exact specifications

You’ll be liaising with design engineers, the test department and CNC operations specialists to ensure 3D design models, tolerances, machine settings and materials are aligned.

An appreciation of Siemens NX CAD, Vericut and Lean methodologies would be benficial
