Job summary

ATP Technical Limited is seeking a skilled engineer to program and optimise 5-axis CNC processes for aerospace components. You will apply CAD/CAM knowledge with GD&T standards to ensure components meet exact specifications and align with design intent.

You will collaborate with design engineers, the test department and CNC operations specialists to ensure 3D models, tolerances, machine settings and materials are aligned for quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CAD/CAM combined with GD&T to meet exact specifications.
• Experience with 5-axis CNC programming and machining.
• Understanding of aerospace component requirements and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design engineers, the test department and CNC operations specialists to align 3D models, tolerances, machine settings and materials.
• Ensure 3D models and tolerances are correctly defined and implemented on the shop floor.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to optimise processes and quality.

You’ll be using your 5 axis CNC knowledge to produce programs that optimise the precision and quality of complex components for aerospace applications.

Your background must include a sound knowledge of CAD/CAM combined with GD&T standards to ensure components meet exact specifications

You’ll be liaising with design engineers, the test department and CNC operations specialists to ensure 3D design models, tolerances, machine settings and materials are aligned.

An appreciation of Siemens NX CAD, Vericut and Lean methodologies would be benficial
