Optical Precision in Sittingbourne is seeking an experienced CNC Miller, Setter, and Operator to join their precision engineering team. You will work on a brand new 5-axis machine with full training provided, using Siemens, Fanuc, or Heidenhain controls on tight tolerance components for aerospace, defence, and nuclear applications.

The role offers overtime and a benefits package. Experience with 5-axis machining is preferred, but the company will train the right candidate to operate the new

Qualifications

• Experienced CNC Miller, Setter, Operator with 5-axis capability.
• 5-axis experience is advantageous; full training provided.
• Proficient in machining to tight tolerances.
• Works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC 5-axis mills with full training given.
• Machining to tight tolerances and ensuring quality.
• Operate Doosan/DMG machines as part of the workflow.
