Job summary

The University of Kansas seeks a Work Management Coordinator/CMMS Specialist to manage work requests in Maximo and coordinate campus maintenance. You will serve as the primary contact for KU community service requests and support operations with strong CMMS knowledge.

This role emphasizes data accuracy, process improvement, and collaboration with KU Operations. It requires a valid driver’s license and a Monday–Friday schedule, with benefits including time off and education opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Process work and service requests via phone, email, and electronic systems.
• Evaluate, prioritise, and initiate work within Maximo with documentation.
• Gather information from requestors for incomplete items.
• Assign requests to personnel and attach required documentation.
• Monitor statuses and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Coordinate emergency responses and outages with affected parties.
• Explain maintenance vs billable work to departments and facilitate requests.
• Provide system data, reports, and operational information to management.
• Support users navigating CMMS workflows at all stages.
