Job summary

Orion Group assists an Oil & Gas Operator in Aberdeen in sourcing a CMMS Associate Engineer for a PAYE 12-month contract. The role centers on SAP maintenance data and SAP PM master data management, supporting maintenance, operations and engineering teams.

You will create, maintain and improve maintenance master data, ensure data quality, governance, and effective system use, and drive data improvement initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience within a SAP maintenance function in the upstream Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing SAP PM master data, including Asset registers, Maintenance plans, Tasks List and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Strong understanding of maintenance management principles and processes, including planning, scheduling and maintenance performance measurement.
• Demonstrated experience working with maintenance KPIs and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
• Proven data management and analytical skills, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• To manage, maintain, and continuously improving maintenance master data within SAP PM. The role supports maintenance, operations, engineering, and project teams by ensuring data quality, compliance with maintenance processes, and effective system utilization.
• The position also contributes to data improvement initiatives and supports the delivery of maintenance excellence across the facility.
• Create, maintain, and update maintenance master data within SAP PM, including Asset registers, Maintenance plans, Maintenance items, Task lists and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Process and implement master data change requests in accordance with site requirements, data standards, governance processes, and approved procedures.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of maintenance master data to support effective maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.
