Qualifications

• 3+ years CMM programming experience

• A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Metrologist / CMM Programmer Abingdon Full Time. Join a cutting-edge advanced manufacturing business developing high-performance components for the aerospace, electronics and industrial sectors. We're looking for an experienced CMM Programmer to play a key role in inspecting precision-engineered components and supporting product development from prototype through to final quality control. This is a varied, hands-on role working with the latest metrology equipment in a fast-paced engineering environment.

What you'll do

• Program and operate CMM equipment (Hexagon/PC-DMIS and Renishaw Agility/MODUS)
• Develop and improve CMM inspection processes
• Support engineering teams throughout product development
• Manage calibration activities and maintain accurate inspection records
• Share knowledge and drive continuous improvement within the metrology team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' CMM programming experience
• Experience with PC-DMIS and/or MODUS
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
• Experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment

• A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently

Desirable

• Fixture/jig design (Fusion 360 or Rhino)
• Statistical Process Control (SPC), MSA or Gauge R&R knowledge
• Data analysis or coding experience
