Job summary

GERRELL & HARD LIMITED is seeking an experienced Metrologist / CMM Programmer in Abingdon to program and operate CMM equipment, develop inspection processes and support product development from prototype through final quality control.

The role involves calibration management and maintaining accurate inspection records, with a proactive, collaborative approach and strong attention to detail in a high-precision manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' CMM programming experience.
• Experience with PC-DMIS and/or MODUS.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

We're looking for an experiencedCMM Programmerto play a key role in inspecting precision-engineered components and supporting product development from prototype through to final quality control. This is a varied, hands-on role working with the latest metrology equipment in a fast-paced engineering environment.

What you'll do

• Program and operate CMM equipment (Hexagon/PC-DMIS and Renishaw Agility/MODUS)
