Job summary

Cosworth Ltd. is seeking a CMM Operator to run PC D-mis and Zeiss CMMs for inspection of engine components. You will be proactive in meeting daily inspection targets and escalate findings to production and engineering teams as needed.

The role requires experience in CMM operations and GD&T, with a manufacturing background and willingness to work alternating early and late shifts. A focus on 5S and continuous improvement will be expected.

Qualifications

• CMM operating experience.
• Experience handling measuring equipment.
• Understanding of GD&T.
• Experience with engineering drawings.
• Metrology background is beneficial.
• Apprenticeship in Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple PC D-mis and Zeiss CMMs to perform inspections on engine components.
• Deliver inspections in a timely manner as directed by engineering.
• Escalate issues or non-conformances to production and engineering promptly.
• Contribute to 5S and continuous improvement activities within the department.
• Liaise with production and engineering to resolve any non-conformances.
• Consider health, safety, environmental and energy impacts of all activities.
