GTS Group Ltd in Wiltshire is seeking experienced Quality Inspectors to join our rapidly growing advanced manufacturing business, specialising in lightweight composite structures and automated manufacturing technology for aerospace, automotive, defence and space sectors.

You will lead CMM inspection and programming (PCDMIS), perform dimensional and visual inspections of composite and metallic parts, inspect materials and components, read engineering drawings and CAD models, and produce FAIR

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years' experience in Quality Inspection or Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CMM operation and programming, ideally PCDMIS.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience working with CAD models for inspection.
• Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out CMM inspection and programming (PCDMIS) of manufactured components.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of composite and metallic parts.
• Inspect incoming materials, in-process components and finished products.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and CAD models.
• Use inspection equipment including CMMs, micrometres, callipers and gauges.
• Produce FAIR packs, inspection reports and Certificates of Conformance.
• Support MRB, non-conformance and corrective action processes.
• Carry out Gauge R&R activities.
• Work with Production and Engineering to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100.
