Job summary

The Collective Network Limited in Daventry is seeking a CMM Inspector to join our growing engineering team. This permanent role offers a Monday to Friday day shift and a £45,000 salary.

You will be the first inspector on site, inspecting parts from the machine shop, using CMMs, scanners and hand tools, and resolving any issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Experience with CMM machines inspecting precision machined parts.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and interpretation.
• Ability to work efficiently alone and resolve issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts from the machine shop and ensure conformance to drawings.
• Be the first inspector on site and uphold quality standards.
• Identify and resolve issues, document findings and actions taken.

Are you a competent Quality Inspector looking for your next opportunity? We may just have it! This permanent position is working a Monday to Friday day shift. You will be the first inspector on site, inspecting the parts from the machine shop.

The Job;

The position will suit an experienced Quality Inspector who has worked in a fast-paced engineering business before. You will need to be able to work efficiently alone and be confident in resolving any issues that may arise.

The Company;

A small, yet established sub-con, who supply into the F1, Motorsport, Automotive, Aerospace and Medical industries. They have recently set up a new facility, so expect to find the latest machinery in a purposely built workspace. It is an exciting time to be part of this journey, as the business are rapidly growing, hence the need for an brand new facility!

Experience;

We are looking for a competent inspector who has operated CMM machines, inspecting precision machined parts. You'll have strong GD&T knowledge and be able to work your way quickly & accurately through the inspection shelf. Using scanning arms and hand measurement tools will be part of your day to day.
