SG Instruments Ltd is hiring a CMM Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections using CMM equipment and MCOSMOS. You will read GD&T and specifications, and inspect with bore and thread gauges.
You’ll support quality sessions and MRB investigations, with opportunity to grow into a leadership role within the Inspection Department.

SG Instruments Ltd is currently recruiting a CMM Inspector based at one of our bespoke Engineering facilities in Tameside. As an Inspector you will be responsible for both in process inspection and final inspection, operating CMM machines using MCOSMOS software. You’ll also inspect our products using conventional instruments such as bore gauge and thread gauge. Ideally, you will have some programming knowledge/experience.
You’ll also use your experience to support internal driven quality sessions in order to improve the knowledge base of our skilled operators and support Material Review Boards/non-conformance investigations when required.

You must be a time-served apprentice with NVQ Level 3 as a minimum.
