As the Cluster Sales Manager - MICE, you will report to the Cluster Director of Sales. Your responsibilities include guiding and managing hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strategic growth, and high-performance standards, while fostering a positive work environment and driving financial success.

Your Job:
- Manage key accounts and agents within conference, sports, weddings, and crew segments, ensuring the hotel capitalizes on all opportunities from these accounts.
- Collaborate with Account Management and Business Development Teams to nurture existing and secure new opportunities following the Dalata sales process.
- Develop and nurture relationships with non-accommodation venues with COOH/Crew opportunities.
- Promote awareness and lead conversion of weddings, Christmas, graduation, and themed events.
- Represent the hotels at sales meetings, customer events, and industry functions as appropriate.
- Utilize available tools such as CRM, BI tools, Market Intelligence, and Solver to support efficient working.
Customer Facing - Owned Segments
- Develop and maintain relationships with key national and international clients through ongoing account management.
- Focus on meetings, conferences, and social events for corporate and social clients.
- Generate new business and accounts for all hotels.
- Participate in sales activities including telesales, client meetings, entertainment, fam trips, and overseas sales trips.
- Identify and manage new opportunities in your market aligned with hotel and portfolio strategies.
- Work closely with Glasgow Convention Bureau, partners, and DMCs on meeting and group opportunities.
Planning & Forecasting
- Collaborate with the CDOS on proactive sales strategies and opportunity analysis.
- Track monthly inquiries and conversions in segments such as Conference In-House, Out-of-House, Sports, and Crew.
- Produce timely reports and analysis.
- Work with M&E on meeting platform opportunities.
- Coordinate with Sales & Revenue teams on group and residential opportunities.
- Implement actions from quarterly sales plans to support business needs.
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel sales role.
- Strong communication skills.
- Commercial awareness with analytical skills to interpret business indicators and trends.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to develop long-term relationships and promote cross-selling within the Dalata group.
- Experience working with global clients and agencies.
- Results-driven and sales-focused attitude.
- Knowledge of the Glasgow market is essential.
