Job summary

Meldrum House Hotel is seeking a Clubhouse Commis Chef to join the Golf Club Catering team. You’ll deliver high-quality food to golf guests from our dedicated kitchen, with potential to work in the main kitchen or banqueting spaces during the off-season.

We value pride in your work, willingness to learn, and a real passion for food with attention to detail to maintain consistent standards. Previous hotel/restaurant experience preferred and sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Be self-aware and able to evaluate your own work.
• You’ll have a real passion for food, and excellent attention to detail to provide consistent standards.

Responsibilities

• The preparation, presentation and service of dishes for a variety of events or services.
• Gaining extensive knowledge of our menus and food offerings.
• Assisting the management team in the control of all food supplies and purchases coming in and out of the kitchen, using date labelling processes.
• Adhere to all food safety and health and safety guidelines.
