Job summary

Everlast Gyms invites an Assistant General Manager to lead and inspire a high-performing club while partnering with the General Manager to deliver outstanding results across sales, member experience and operations.

You’ll coach teams, recruit talent, and drive performance through strong leadership, coaching and accountability in a fast-paced leisure environment. This role sits within Frasers Group’s growing fitness portfolio and offers clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience within fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Strong track record of leading teams and delivering business results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to influence performance.
• Flexible approach to working patterns, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Level 2 Fitness Qualification and gym/fitness operations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coach, motivate and develop colleagues to achieve their full potential.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and retention of top talent.
• Deliver regular performance conversations and feedback.
• Help create a positive, energetic and high-performing team culture.
• Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and accountability.
• Support delivery of revenue streams including memberships, PT and add-ons.
• Drive sales through member engagement and conversion.
• Monitor and improve club KPIs and performance metrics.
• Support local marketing activity and member growth initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
