Job summary

Giffnock North Amateur Athletic Club is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team in a busy kitchen environment. The role focuses on preparing, cooking and serving high-quality food for club members, visitors and guests while maintaining HACCP standards and a strong emphasis on hygiene.

Hours are Thursday to Sunday, 12:00pm – 8:30pm, with involvement in match days, events and other busy service periods. The successful candidate will bring reliability, pride in food quality and the ability to

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook in a busy kitchen.
• Experience using a Rational oven is essential.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, food safety and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve high-quality food to a consistent standard.
• Follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen organisation.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods including match days and events.
• Assist with stock rotation and ordering where required.
• Contribute to developing the club's food offering.
