Job summary

SSE is recruiting a Service Delivery Analyst within the Group IT Cloud team. You will support the Head of Cloud and leads with service-related work, including reporting, backlog management and security posture improvements, while engaging internal customers and IT Operations partners.

This role covers service health/KPI reporting, backlog management and stakeholder engagement; opportunities to grow across multiple teams and activities, with a focus on delivering services as a product.

Qualifications

• Experience in an enterprise IT environment with service delivery/management, preferably cloud related.
• Strong communicator able to translate messages clearly and summarize issues for stakeholders.
• Service delivery focus, understanding what is needed to deliver a technical product as a service.
• Experience producing reports and KPIs; PowerBI experience is beneficial.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and task management tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Delivery Manager with reporting on service health (KPIs, incidents, ticket handling, platform usage) with emphasis on security posture.
• Assist team leads with reporting for continuous service improvement and backlog management, focusing on security remediation.
• Collaborate with technical leads to manage/prioritise the backlog and support sprint and scrum processes.
• Support service introduction processes ensuring governance and checks for new products/capabilities.
• Help engage internal customers through knowledge management and maintaining Cloud entries in the CMDB; work with SharePoint content to keep service focus.
