Job summary

Heathrow Airport is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst specializing in Cloud Security to safeguard our cloud infrastructure, applications and services. You will work with the Cyber Security Solutions Team to integrate security into the design, deployment and operations of cloud-based systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical experience in cloud security engineering.
• Solid cloud architecture and secure cloud configurations.
• Proven guidance on cloud application design, implementation and ongoing management.
• Experience ensuring compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers and security specialists.
• Deep knowledge of Azure and Google Cloud platforms.
• Experience with cloud security tools including Shield, Azure Security, Wiz and Guard.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Security Strategy and Design: Develop and implement cloud security frameworks integrated into infrastructure and services.
• Cloud Security Operations: Monitor, detect, and respond to threats; conduct risk assessments and audits for compliance.
• Incident Response & Forensics: Support incident response, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Automation & Optimisation: Automate security controls and monitoring to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work with DevOps and stakeholders to implement security controls and communicate risks clearly.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and audits within cloud environments.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with cloud security trends and vulnerabilities.
