Job summary

Allstate Northern Ireland Limited in Belfast is seeking a Product Security Engineer for Cloud Security across multiple levels. Hybrid role requires hands-on security engineering in cloud environments and CSPM/DLP capability development.

You'll design, build, and operate cloud-native security controls, integrate with SIEM, CI/CD, and collaborate with platform teams and product managers to strengthen security across cloud workloads.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software or security engineering experience in cloud environments.
• Experience engineering security controls in public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Experience CSPM/DLP capabilities as engineered solutions.
• Understanding of cloud-native architectures and security integration points.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native security controls as software products across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and applications.
• Engineer CSPM and DLP capabilities to detect, assess, and reduce risk in cloud environments.
• Build preventative, detective, and responsive security controls integrated into cloud platforms, CI/CD, and shared services.
• Integrate cloud security controls with SIEM and security tooling for high-quality detection signals.
• Support incident handling and response by engineering detection logic, automation, and response mechanisms.
• Apply IaC, automated testing, and CI/CD to ensure reliable, scalable security controls.
• Collaborate with platform engineers, application teams, and product managers to align security controls with architectures.
