Job summary

Allstate NI in Belfast is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design, build, and operate security controls across cloud environments. The role focuses on CSPM and DLP capabilities, integrating with CI/CD and cloud platforms to continuously detect, assess, and reduce risk.

You will own the full software development lifecycle for security features, collaborating with platform engineers, application teams, and Security partners to ensure reliable, scalable controls and effective incident

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software or security engineering experience with production cloud systems.
• Hands-on experience engineering security controls in public cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience building CSPM/DLP capabilities as engineered solutions.
• Understanding of cloud-native architectures and security integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native security controls as software products.
• Maintain CSPM and DLP capabilities to detect and reduce risk.
• Build security controls that integrate with CI/CD pipelines and services.
• Integrate security controls with SIEM for detection and incident response.
• Support incident handling with detection logic and automation.
• Apply infrastructure as code, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with platform engineers and product teams to align security controls.
