Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Security Engineer to help build and manage services that detect and mitigate cybersecurity threats across AWS infrastructure. You will work with data scientists, software engineers, and other security engineers across multiple teams to develop innovative security solutions for AWS customers.

You will be part of a UK-based team, with the requirement to be a UK national and obtain/maintain UK Government Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree within last 12 months in operations research, applied mathematics, theoretical computer science, or equivalent, or a GSEC or Security+ with programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage services that detect and mitigate cybersecurity threats across AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to develop security solutions for AWS customers.
