Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Security Engineer to help build and manage services that detect and mitigate cybersecurity threats across AWS infrastructure for UK customers.

You'll collaborate with data scientists and engineers, access state-of-the-art security programs, and work within a team that operates UK security and compliance activities, including personnel security, accreditations, education and awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations research, applied mathematics, theoretical computer science, or equivalent.
• GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or Security+ certification and experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

Responsibilities

• As a Security Engineer, you'll help to build and manage services that detect and automate the mitigation of cybersecurity threats across AWS infrastructure.
• You'll work with data scientists, software development engineers, and other security engineers across multiple teams to develop innovative security solutions.
