Job summary

Immersive is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our Cloud Security Content team, building emulated environments that teach cloud security concepts and security-focused labs for the Immersive One platform.

You will shape the AWS, Azure and GCP content roadmap, create engaging practical exercises, and educate security professionals through hands-on labs and simulations in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in production-critical cloud infrastructures with a security focus.
• Solid knowledge of Azure, AWS, GCP or Kubernetes with security, identity & access.
• Experience with cloud SIEMs (Microsoft Sentinel, Google SecOps).
• Experience with CSPM or CNAAP tooling.
• Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiar with serverless technologies.
• Knowledgeable in network, firewall and security best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and deployment (Terraform).
• Experience in DevSecOps, cloud security or SRE focusing on availability and automation.
• Ability to use examples and analogies to simplify complex topics for training simulations.
• Problem solver who enjoys prototyping and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Utilising knowledge of cloud technology to plan, write and improve cloud security labs, challenges and online learning content.
• Produce multi-format content; practical exercises, questions & gamification.
• Test Cloud Security labs to ensure they function as expected.
• Work with the Engineering and Content teams on new projects/products and how best to deploy them.
• Compile technical research into understandable concise content for both technical and non-technical audience.
• Work with the wider Product team on new projects and product innovations and how best to deploy them.
