Cavendish (Recruitment) Professionals Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cloud Security DevOps Engineer to join a global tech team driving secure cloud delivery. You will implement automation-driven security across multi-cloud environments and integrate CSPM/CI/CD security into the development lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on experience with cloud security, DevSecOps, IaC (Terraform), and security tooling, with a focus on scalable, auditable controls and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cloud security, DevSecOps, or platform engineering with automation-driven security at enterprise scale.
• Strong experience with at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP); multi-cloud preferred.
• Security as Code / Policy as Code, IaC (Terraform preferred), CI/CD security integration, cloud security architecture, vulnerability management, and compliance design.
• Programming skills in Python (preferred), Go, or Java for automation and tooling.
• Experience with CSPM/CNAPP platforms (Orca, Prisma, Wiz, Defender) and cloud-native security services; Kubernetes security preferred.
• Strong data-driven problem-solving, ability to work independently and align stakeholders across teams.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain security controls across AWS, Azure, GCP and other clouds with automated compliance checks.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD security solutions and remediation automations to reduce MTTR.
• Integrate CSPM tooling with enterprise workflows (ServiceNow, Jira) and operationalise new CSPM capabilities.
• Create enablement materials and self-service security guidance for LoB onboarding and adoption.
• Reduce false positives and alert noise via tuning, data analysis, and refined security rules.
• Contribute to service health reporting, dashboards, and quarterly CSPM service improvements.
• Mature alert ownership, routing, exception handling, and asset attribution processes.
