Job summary

E.ON Next is seeking an experienced Cloud Platforms Lead to shape the future of cloud infrastructure and platform engineering across the UK. You will lead a team of Engineering Managers and 15+ Cloud, DevOps, and AI Platform Engineers to build scalable, secure and cost-efficient cloud services supporting fast, reliable customer outcomes.

As a senior leader, you’ll own long-term platform strategy, champion developer experience, and partner with Security and Architecture teams to strengthen Zero

Qualifications

• Significant engineering experience with leadership of engineering leaders.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms, multi-cloud architecture, platform engineering and developer experience.
• Experience defining long-term technology roadmaps and managing supplier partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Engineering Managers and platform engineers.
• Define and own multi-year platform strategy across cloud infrastructure, tooling, CI/CD, AI platforms and cost optimisation.
• Deliver self-service tools, automated portals and reusable templates for faster product delivery.
