Job summary

Archer, collaborating with JPMorgan Chase, seeks a Platform Engineer to join the Accelerator Business Platform Team in the UK. You will craft secure, scalable platform services, improve reliability, and drive automation across Kubernetes-based workloads.

You will work in cross-functional squads focused on fintech products, contributing to design reviews, incident response, and continuous improvement in a customer-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certifications in software engineering cloud concepts.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing and operations.
• Proficiency in Go, Java or Kotlin and cloud-native practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, production-grade code and review peers' work.
• Build and operate Kubernetes-based platform services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve operational reliability and automate remediation of recurring issues.
• Provide on-call and incident response under a you-build-it, you-run-it model.
• Lead architectural evaluations with external vendors and internal teams.
