Job summary

Wavenet is seeking a CPS Platform Engineer to deliver proactive managed services across hybrid, private, and public cloud environments. You will own incidents and problems, work with customers as a trusted advisor, and contribute to project delivery to keep customer platforms secure and performing.

You will monitor estates, implement DR and backup strategies, and collaborate with third-party vendors. The role requires a strong MSP background and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience (typically 3+ years) in managed services.
• Strong technical knowledge of hypervisors and cloud platforms.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, AD, SQL).
• Experience with Azure cloud and on-premises integrations.
• Automation and CLI skills (PowerShell, Ansible).
• Proven ability to work within SLA-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor multiple IT estates and deliver proactive Managed Services.
• Deliver continuous improvements for customers in hybrid, private cloud, public cloud environments.
• Act as a focal point for onsite activities and provide expert guidance to the service desk.
• Lead or support project delivery for customer-focused initiatives.
• On-call participation and knowledge sharing through mentoring.
