Job summary

DWP Digital is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help design and automate our network services across cloud and on-premises environments. You will work with AWS, Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to deliver secure, scalable connectivity and cutting-edge automation across multi-disciplinary teams.

In a hybrid setting, you’ll influence how services evolve, lead CI/CD improvements and support engineers to raise the reliability and speed of delivery for millions of users across the UK.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge of writing and maintaining Infrastructure and Configuration as Code.
• Strong experience of using Unix/Linux/Windows in a support and/or development environment including scripting languages.
• Demonstrable experience of working in a NetDevOps environment - Continuous Integration & Deployment, Delivery methods and techniques, including agile scrum experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge of implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience of supporting, guiding and developing engineers across multi-disciplinary teams in an agile environment.
• Demonstrable experience of developing and supporting cloud-based network solutions across a multi-cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Design secure connectivity solutions across AWS, Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and lead automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cloud and on-premises engineering teams to improve reliability and delivery speed.
• Lead continuous improvement and develop modern, high-performing services for millions of users.
• Foster strong relationships across engineering teams and advocate best practices in DevOps.
