Job summary

Wavenet is seeking a CPS Platform Engineer to deliver proactive managed services across hybrid cloud environments. You will manage incidents, provide expert guidance, and work with customers to ensure secure, reliable cloud platforms.

Responsibilities include monitoring estates, enabling DR/backups, and contributing to ITIL-based processes while liaising with vendors. UK-based travel may be required, with a strong emphasis on hands-on technical delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in managed services with 3+ years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hypervisors and cloud platforms with on-call exposure.
• Proven ability to diagnose, triage and resolve incidents quickly.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor multiple IT estates and act as SME for cloud services.
• Own incidents and problems, coordinating with customers and vendors.
• Support project work and internal initiatives to improve service delivery.
• Ensure DR/backups are implemented and validated across environments.
