AlphaSense is seeking a Principal Engineer for its Core Cloud Platform. You will own architectural roadmaps for cloud, Kubernetes, and storage, while driving automation, security, and cost efficiency across hundreds of clusters.

You will lead cross-team initiatives and shape the platform that powers our AI-driven market intelligence services. The role emphasizes deep storage expertise, strong coding skills in Python and Go, and the ability to operate at scale in a multi-tenant, multi-region

Qualificações

• Experience running Kubernetes in production at scale.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and storage systems.
• Proven ability to lead large technical programs and drive architecture decisions.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Golang; excellent problem solving and debugging abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Own the architectural roadmap for cloud, Kubernetes, and storage platform.
• Own cloud-side configuration and Helm chart layer for Cloud Core.
• Build cell registry and automate provisioning for new cells.
• Design cross-cell gate mechanism as reusable checkpoint across cells.
• Operate and evolve Cloud and Kubernetes platform including data storage layers.
• Improve security, reliability, cost efficiency, and performance across clusters.
• Champion standards and drive uniformisation; reduce duplication.
• Enable self-service and agentic workflows within Build it - Own it model.
