easyJet is seeking an hands-on Software Engineer to design, build and operate cloud-native software across agile squads. You’ll contribute across the full software lifecycle, from design and development through testing, deployment and production support.

The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning and the use of modern technologies to deliver scalable systems for one of Europe’s leading airlines.

Qualifications

• Commercial software engineering experience in a modern technology environment.
• Strong experience developing applications using .NET and/or Java.
• Experience building and supporting cloud‑native applications on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy and support production software.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable and well‑tested code.
• Build and support applications using AWS, .NET and Java technologies.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and implementation activities.
• Investigate defects, troubleshoot issues and support production systems.
• Improve software quality through code reviews, testing, observability and reliability practices.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering colleagues to deliver valuable solutions.
• Contribute to engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing and release management.
• Use AI‑assisted engineering tools thoughtfully to improve development effectiveness and software quality.
