Job summary

IBM Software is seeking engineers to design and deliver cloud-native, secure data platforms. You will work on distributed systems, from architecture to end-to-end delivery, improving performance and scalability across critical services.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Java, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), plus a collaborative mindset and on-call production experience. A BS in CS/Engineering is required; Masters preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Masters degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience delivering large-scale, secure, highly available systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with distributed systems, cloud-native development, and secure, scalable data integration.
• Architect a complex engineering system from end to end.
• Evaluate and enhance the efficiency of the platform's technology stack.
• Provide technical guidance to the team in specialized areas.
• Improve stability, performance, and operational excellence across systems.
