Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, building, and supporting backend systems in production.
• Strong software engineering practices: code reviews, high quality, and thorough documentation.
• Experience with online components serving user requests.
• Proficiency in Python runtimes and environments (virtualenvs, package management, interpreter configurations).
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build mission-critical backend services and features delivering value to customers.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a multi-tenant, distributed stack.
• Ensure service availability, performance, and operational readiness against SLAs.
• Contribute to process improvements to optimize engineering workflows.
