Job summary

Brio Digital are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a consultancy project in Leeds. The role combines React-based frontend work with Python backend services and cloud-native AWS infrastructure.

You will design, build, test and operate scalable applications across the full development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines and IaC with Terraform. You will collaborate with product, architecture and delivery teams, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions, while

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React and Python.
• Experience building Micro Frontend applications.
• Practical AWS cloud services experience (Lambda, API Gateway, S3).
• Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with Git/GitHub and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain React-based Micro Frontend applications using Module Federation.
• Design, develop and maintain Python backend services.
• Build and operate cloud-native solutions using AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, WAF, DynamoDB, S3 and CloudWatch.
• Develop infrastructure and application deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment processes.
• Implement automated unit and integration testing and contribute to code quality and security practices.
• Collaborate with product, architecture and delivery teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Monitor application and platform health, troubleshoot incidents and drive continuous improvement.
