Job summary

Diana Duggan UK Limited is seeking an experienced Logging & Inventory Cloud Engineer to join our cloud engineering and automation programme in London. The role focuses on enhancing cloud visibility, inventory management and automation across multi-cloud environments, with hands-on design, implementation and operational support.

You will work across AWS and GCP, build IaC with Terraform, develop Python and Shell scripts, and drive improvements in observability and governance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with GCP and AWS.
• Proven experience delivering logging, monitoring and inventory management solutions in cloud environments.
• Strong Python development and automation skills.
• Extensive experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong Shell scripting capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience driving automation initiatives.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerisation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain logging, monitoring and inventory management solutions across cloud platforms.
• Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Develop scripts and tooling using Python and Shell scripting.
• Support cloud engineering activities across AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Drive improvements in cloud observability, monitoring and operational reporting.
• Manage and optimise containerised workloads where required.
• Work closely with engineering and platform teams to improve cloud governance and operational controls.
• Support cloud asset discovery, inventory management and configuration management initiatives.
