Job summary

Stott and May Inc. in Glasgow is seeking a Logging & Monitoring Specialist to join a large-scale multi-cloud transformation programme spanning GCP, AWS, Azure and on-premises environments.

This hands-on role focuses on building logging, monitoring, and cloud inventory capabilities, with emphasis on GCP and AWS. You will design and implement solutions, develop automation using Python and Terraform, and work with engineering, cloud and security teams to ensure robust security and reliability

Qualifications

• Experience with GCP and AWS.
• Proven logging, monitoring and observability experience.
• Strong Python and Terraform skills.
• Experience with Kubernetes/containers.
• Shell scripting, e.g. Bash/Zsh.
• Git, DevOps and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement logging, monitoring and inventory solutions across GCP and AWS.
• Develop automation using Python and Terraform.
• Implement monitoring across Kubernetes and containerised environments.
• Automate operational processes to improve reliability and reduce manual intervention.
• Support the development of a large-scale multi-cloud platform.
• Work with engineering, cloud and security teams to ensure solutions meet operational and security standards.
