Job title: Cloud Infrastructure & Security Manager – Azure / Microsoft 365

The role:

My client is looking for a knowledgeable Infrastructure & Security Engineer / Manager to join their team.

The organisation operates a hybrid working environment, with 3 days in the office per week and 2 days working from home.

The position combines expertise in Microsoft Azure, 365, Infrastructure Engineering, and Security, covering both BAU and project work.

Responsibilities include:

• Infrastructure: Continuing the migration from on-premises to fully Cloud-based Infrastructure (Azure), providing expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms, automating via IaC and DevOps methodologies, managing EoL and decommissioning of legacy tech, writing technical documentation, managing patching, and assisting in transitioning to a fully Cloud environment.
• Security: Designing and enforcing security and access management policies, IAM management, threat monitoring and detection using tools like Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, SIEM, etc., and ensuring compliance with security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, and GDPR.

Core skills required:

• Strong security experience with ISO27001, NIST, and related frameworks
• IAM experience
• Threat management and incident response skills
• Experience in third-party and vendor management
• Leadership ability to lead a small team by example
