Job description

A top UK law firm is recruiting for a Cloud and Infrastructure Manager to manage and optimise the business's cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure. This will incorporate leading the Cloud and Infrastructure team in providing the infrastructure in a highly available, secure, scalable, robust, and efficient manner.

Responsibilities will involve:

1. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud systems and IT infrastructure
2. Develop and implement strategies to align IT infrastructure with business goals
3. Ensure that all cloud and infrastructure systems comply with security standards and regulations
4. Monitor the performance of cloud and infrastructure systems
5. Work closely with other IT teams, such as application development and cyber security, to support new technologies and business initiatives
6. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met
7. Plan and manage the budget for all IT infrastructure, ensuring cost-effective investments that align with business needs

The successful candidate will have 5+ years' experience in a senior Infrastructure role and experience with VMware virtualization, Cisco Network, and Microsoft cloud services.
