Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to maintain core infrastructure services, drive automation, and strengthen security controls. You will oversee monitoring, deployment, and enterprise software while guiding junior engineers and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining core infrastructure services and incident management.
• Ability to drive improvements and automation across cloud infrastructure.
• Monitoring, backups, and uptime management of servers and networks.
• Deploy and configure servers, end user devices, networking equipment, and enterprise software.
• Implement and maintain security controls and regulatory compliance.
• Manage and develop junior infrastructure engineers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain core infrastructure services through incident and problem management.
• Drive improvements to deliver new and updated core infrastructure services.
• Drive automation across the core infrastructure estate.
• Monitor servers, networks, backups, and end user devices for optimal performance.
• Deploy and configure servers, devices, networking, and enterprise software.
• Implement and maintain security controls and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Manage Junior Infrastructure Engineers.
