Job Description

Netcompany is looking for Entry Level Cloud Infrastructure Engineers to join its Cloud Operations and DevOps Teams to enhance our support capabilities and deliver optimal solutions to our clients.

Based in a new purpose-built facility in Leeds city centre, you will join a forward-thinking organisation that prioritises your personal development.

We provide extensive training in cloud and supporting technologies, with oversight from senior engineers to ensure your growth.

Whether you have recently graduated or have experience in other IT roles, you will be entrusted with significant responsibilities from day one, supporting some of the largest, most complex, and innovative projects for prestigious clients worldwide.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years' experience in a professional IT environment, such as a cloud engineer or similar role.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning, initiative to acquire new skills, tools, and techniques.
• Enjoy troubleshooting and solving complex problems.
• Effective communication skills for collaborative work in a fast-paced sector.
• Experience with Alert Monitoring and Event Management.
• Skills in at least one scripting language.
• Ability to estimate work and deliver on time.
• Good planning, organisation, and reporting skills.
• Willingness to identify personal development areas.
• Willing to travel within the UK for projects.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Ability to attain UK Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience working on large critical systems.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Understanding of Containerisation, Kubernetes / Docker.
• Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines.
