Job summary

SAS Institute, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Industry Lead for Life Sciences to provide industry and technical expertise for SAS Cloud engagements. The role involves guiding customers across the lifecycle, conducting workshops, and ensuring regulatory compliance in cloud environments.

The position emphasizes collaboration across SAS teams, data discovery, and driving adoption of cloud platforms with a focus on Life Sciences customers. Hybrid work arrangements are available in multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry and/or technical experience including: providing industry and solution expertise to support SAS Cloud implementations across the customer lifecycle.
• 2 years of experience with SAS, Java, and/or Python programming for supporting enterprise class applications.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, MIS, or related discipline.
• Experience with Life Sciences industry and clinical trial analysis to support Cloud customers.
• Proof of right to work in posted country is required to be considered for the role.
• Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry and solution expertise to support SAS Cloud implementations across the customer lifecycle, from contract signature through ongoing operations.
• Conduct requirements gathering, workshops, data discovery, analysis, reporting and demo sessions to drive adoption of platforms and expansion of the SAS Cloud footprint.
• Ensure customer environments adhere to industry regulations, SAS standards, and best practices.
• Implement business/industry requirements to improve system stability, monitoring, and reduce operational burden for a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate across internal and external teams to resolve risks and ensure security policies are followed.

The Managed Cloud Services Life Sciences Offering team is looking for a Cloud Industry Lead to provide industry and technical expertise for our Life Sciences customer engagements running in our cloud. Our team is rapidly expanding, and you will have opportunities to collaborate with customers and colleagues across SAS to deliver outstanding service and ensure regulatory compliance for our life science cloud environments. As a Cloud Industry Lead, you will:

• Provides industry and solution expertise to support implementation of SAS Cloud solutions across the customer lifecycle (from contract signature through ongoing operations)
• Conducts requirements gathering, workshops, data discovery, analysis, reporting and presentation/demo sessions for customers to drive adoption of new platforms solution and expansion of the SAS Cloud footprint.
• Ensures customer environments adhere to industry regulations, SAS standards, and best practices.
• Implements business/industry requirements to improve system stability, monitoring awareness, and to decrease operational burden to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Works across internal and external teams to resolve risks, address obstacles, and ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.

5+ years of industry and/or technical experience including:

• 2 years of experience in clinical trial analysis, consulting, systems support, customer support, or training for enterprise class software.
• 2 years of experience with SAS, Java, and/or Python programming for supporting enterprise class applications.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Management Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Experience with Life Sciences industry and clinical trial analysis to support Cloud customers.
