Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring a Platform Engineer to build and operate a cloud-native platform for enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM). You will design, deploy, and scale infrastructure powering a multi-year modernization across a global organization.

Key responsibilities include designing and managing Kubernetes clusters, implementing IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps workflows, plus ensuring platform security, observability, and compliance at scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native IAM platforms.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Strong skills in IaC and automated deployments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud-native platform services supporting identity infrastructure.
• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters and supporting platform components.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code for repeatable, automated deployments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps deployment workflows.
• Manage cloud networking, connectivity, and platform security.
• Implement platform observability (logging, monitoring, metrics, tracing).
• Automate platform provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks.
• Configure service mesh technologies (Istio/Envoy) and secure service-to-service communication.
• Implement platform resilience, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.
