Job summary

TESTQ Technologies is seeking a Senior Cloud Native Identity Engineer to develop and maintain cloud-native identity services and platform components in a complex enterprise environment. You will design secure integrations with enterprise identity platforms, build REST APIs and microservices, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and observability to ensure security, performance, and resilience.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience.
• Cloud-native application development experience.
• Strong API development and REST API expertise.
• Experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git-based source control.
• Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles and tools.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with identity standards such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML and SCIM.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices.
• Experience with software testing and automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-native identity services and platform components.
• Build APIs, microservices and event-driven integrations.
• Implement authentication, authorization and identity federation capabilities.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Support monitoring, logging and observability capabilities.
• Collaborate with Platform, Security, Architects and Product Owners.
• Participate in design reviews and peer code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, platform and integration issues.
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks and ops procedures.
• Support deployments across development, testing and production environments.
