Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Cloud FinOps Lead to drive financial management practices for technology investments. The role is hybrid, based in London or Staines, with a salary from £70k plus a 10% bonus and benefits.

You will lead a team and collaborate with engineers, designers and managers to optimise cloud costs and maximise business value across Azure, GCP and OCI. 37.5 hours per week with flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, spend tracking, and evolving cost-management capabilities.
• Hands-on with cloud reporting tools and data analysis.
• Experience with Azure, GCP and OCI operations, governance, and cloud financial management.
• Ability to lead people and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of FinOps practices and cloud consumption analysis to drive cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Implement and evolve financial management and value-optimisation practices across technology services, focusing on cloud platforms.
• Lead a small team to operate the financial management and optimisation capability.
• Engage stakeholders to understand costs, consumption patterns, investment priorities and efficiency realisation.
• Lead technology optimisation, value management and cost management processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of technology consumption with design/engineering/management teams.
• Optimise commercial pricing and manage a portfolio of technology financial commitments and contractual processes.
