Job summary

Focus Group in Truro is seeking a Cloud Technical Engineer to join our Focus Cloud team. You will design and deploy Microsoft 365-based ICT solutions for a diverse range of customers, delivering remote or on-site services in a hybrid model.

You will work with skilled engineers, share knowledge, and participate in career development. The role emphasizes problem-solving, collaboration, and staying current with Microsoft 365 updates and best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, user/licence management, security and compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 issues, including email delivery and collaboration tools.
• Experience migrating users/data to Microsoft 365 with minimal disruption.
• Knowledge of security best practices in Microsoft 365.
• Automation tooling experience to streamline operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultancy and delivery on large projects.
• Deliver high-quality ICT solutions remotely or on site.
• Act as escalation point for your area of specialism.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, project management, and senior engineers to ensure outcomes.
• Audit and document customer solutions to a high standard.
• Lead engineers on complex projects, remotely or on site.
• Contribute to technical discussions on requirements and design.
• Work with stakeholders to deliver solutions meeting project needs.
• Document best-practice solution design pre-, during and after sale.
• Deliver projects within agreed time budgets and KPIs.
• Create statements of work and low-level project plans.
