Job summary

WRK Digital are partnering with a leading digital consultancy to recruit a Cloud Engineer in Leeds. You will design, build and maintain cloud-native platforms on AWS and/or Azure, using Terraform for infrastructure, and manage container-based workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.

The role includes contributing to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation across client engagements. You will join multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions, improve platform reliability, and

Qualifications

• Commercial experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS or similar container platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with at least one backend language (C#, Python, Node.js, Java).
• Understanding of cloud security fundamentals, networking and monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud-native platforms using AWS and/or Azure.
• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform and IaC principles.
• Support containerised applications using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or similar.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving platform reliability and performance.
• Work across the full software delivery lifecycle, contributing to both platform and application development.
• Participate in technical design discussions and cloud-architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with clients and delivery teams to deliver successful outcomes.
