Job summary

Jumping Rivers Ltd is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure supporting client projects, with a focus on Posit product deployments across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on‑prem environments.

You will manage infrastructure as code, configure authentication and networking, and run CI/CD pipelines, while providing hands‑on client support to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable live deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience in a DevOps, infrastructure, or systems engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
• Comfortable working in Linux environments.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls).
• Strong, methodical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Posit Connect, Posit Workbench, and Posit Package Manager for clients across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for client deployments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Posit systems post‑deployment; apply patches and upgrades.
• Collaborate with clients and data scientists; write deployment documentation.
