Job summary

Altium Limited is hiring a Cloud DevOps Engineer to build and operate AWS infrastructure, improve deployment workflows, and automate day-to-day operations. The role focuses on AWS, Terraform, K8s (EKS), and automation to support scalable software delivery.

You will own Infrastructure as Code, support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and implement monitoring and automation. This is a hands-on role requiring 6+ years of DevOps experience and strong Linux skills.

Qualifications

6+ years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure experience.
Strong AWS experience, including core services: EC2, EKS, ECS, RDS, S3, Route 53, VPC networking.
Strong Terraform experience and K8s fundamentals.
Experience with CI/CD systems: Jenkins / GitLab CI and Linux shells.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for production and non-production environments.
Develop and own Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Operate and support K8s workloads (EKS): deployments, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation (Jenkins/GitLab CI).
Implement automation scripts/tools (Python/Go/Bash/PowerShell).
Improve monitoring and alerting for AWS and K8s (Prometheus/New Relic).
Participate in on-call rotation and drive operational improvements after incidents.
