Job summary

RX Global, based in London, is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to create secure, scalable RX Cloud Platforms across AWS and Azure. You will automate deployments, improve observability, and drive reliability in a fast-paced engineering environment.

You will work with AWS/Azure services, IaC, CI/CD, and security best practices while collaborating with software teams to optimise release processes and incident response.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with cloud services such as EKS/AKS, EC2, ECS/Fargate, IAM, VPC, Route53, CloudFront, RDS, S3, ALB, CloudWatch, Azure Storage and Azure Monitor.
• Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation or similar).
• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions and CI/CD practices.
• Bash or PowerShell scripting in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, cloud security and IAM best practices.

• Apply cloud security best practices and support remediation activities.
• Maintain monitoring, logging and alerting solutions and participate in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Automate repetitive operational activities and use AI-assisted engineering tools for troubleshooting and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvements across cloud platforms, tooling and engineering practices.

About The Role

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer within GTECH Cloud Engineering, you will help build, automate, secure and support RX Cloud Platforms across AWS and Microsoft Azure. Based in Richmond, London, you will work closely with software engineering and cloud teams to improve cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, observability and platform reliability.

Requirements

• Good hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with a range of cloud services such as EKS/AKS, EC2, ECS/Fargate, IAM, VPC/Virtual Networks, Route53, CloudFront, RDS, S3, ALB, Systems Manager, CloudWatch, Azure Storage and Azure Monitor.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or similar Infrastructure as Code tooling.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions and CI/CD practices.
• Bash or PowerShell scripting skills and experience working with Linux environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, cloud security and IAM best practices.
• Good troubleshooting, communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with software engineering or Agile delivery teams.
• An automation-first mindset and willingness to take ownership of delivering reliable, high-quality solutions.
• Exposure to complementary technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, OpenSearch, Elastic Cloud, Python, AWS Control Tower, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, GCP, FinOps, cloud cost optimisation or AI-assisted engineering tools would be beneficial.
